Many centennial events are being planned right now! To kick off the celebration, we plan to have an opening ceremonial mass in January 2009.

The organ in St. Philip Neri church is a real classic. In February 2009, we plan to have an organ recital which will be a great opportunity to hear that beautiful church music again.

During the spring months, we will have a special Latin mass and an old fashion May Crowning.

In June 2009 there will be a special liturgy for lovers where we will honor all couples married in St. Philip Neri Church.

In July 2009 there will be a special mass for all the sons and daughters of St. Philip Neri who have accepted a religious vocation.

August 2009 marks the official feast day of St. Philip Neri. In this month we will celebrate with a special mass conducted by the Arch Bishop.


Many, many other activities will be conducted throughout the year.


One Sunday in October 2009, there will be an Athletic Hall of Fame Banquet at the Indiana Roof. If you know a former SPN player or coach that you would like to nominate to the Hall of Fame, please send the nominee name and a short story to kevin.okerson@comcast.net.

Bricks are still available for the Memorial Walkway outside the main entrance to St. Philip Neri Church. These commemorative plaques recall the lives of those who've left a permanent mark upon our community. Remember an individual or entire family, living or deceased.
